2024 MAPA Educational Development Scholarship Fund

The MAPA Educational Development Fund was established in 1991 at the Capital Region Community Foundation to enable MAPA’s charitable pursuits and provide college scholarships to employees and dependents of MAPA members statewide, pursuing undergraduate education. Applicants may be enrolled in any course of study. Additional consideration may be extended to applicants enrolled in Business Administration and/or Automotive Aftermarket Technology. One scholarship granted annually is in memory of MAPA founder Justin H. 'Jud' Morrison.

MAPA is proud to provide three (3) $1,000 scholarships to be awarded in 2024, including the Justin H. 'Jud' Morrison Memorial Achievement of Excellence Award. Since the MAPA Educational Development Scholarship Fund program began, MAPA has awarded $90,500 to 96 students. Your contribution helps provide additional scholarships in years to come. Contributions qualify for a federal tax deduction as well as a Michigan Tax Credit for contributions to a certified Community Foundation. ScholarshipCentralCleanLogoMichigan Automotive Parts Association Collaborates with the University of the Aftermarket Foundation on Automotive Aftermarket Scholarships

 

The Michigan Automotive Parts Association (MAPA) is proud to collaborate with The University of the Aftermarket in the continuation of an online scholarship resource for students planning to pursue careers in the automotive aftermarket.

This educational opportunity not only enhances MAPA’s scholarship program, but provides students from Michigan planning to pursue automotive aftermarket careers a one-step resource for assistance with their education.

Applicants are able to complete the MAPA Educational Development Scholarship Fund application online on MAPA’s space at https://automotivescholarships.com/scholarships/mapa# . When applicants apply online, not only will they be eligible for the MAPA scholarship established at the Capital Region Community Foundation, they will also receive consideration for the University of the Aftermarket Foundation scholarships and other industry awards. Note, all applicants must be sponsored by a MAPA member in good standing and you must include MAPA sponsor information on the application to be considered.

If applicant desires to apply only for the MAPA scholarship, then only a paper application should be completed and returned directly to Capital Region Community Foundation. Application deadline is March 31, 2024.

 

2024 MAPA - Northwood University Scholarship

The annual Michigan Automotive Parts Association Northwood University Scholarship is for Northwood University students enrolled in its Automotive Aftermarket Management program. Applicants for the $1,000 MAPA - Northwood Scholarship must be Michigan residents enrolled at Midland’s Northwood campus.
