Legislative Representation in Lansing, Michigan and Washington, D.C. MAPA’s members are represented at the national level through our affiliation with the Auto Care Association and the Alliance of State Automotive Aftermarket Associations (ASAAA). In Lansing, MAPA utilizes the Michigan Information & Research Service Inc. (MIRS) to monitor legislative and regulatory proposals that affect your business and the industry.

Health Insurance. Health Insurance plans to best fit members employee benefit needs through multiple insurance companies are available with plan options that fit your budget for those who are looking for more affordable health plans. Dental, Life, and Disability insurance plans available.
Workers’ Compensation and Business Insurance. MAPA endorses Frankenmuth Insurance, a Michigan company,for member’s property and casualty, workers’ compensation, business auto, and cyber and information plus insurance needs. The MAPA program offers a 10% association discount to qualified members on most coverages in addition to excellent service and claims processing.
Forms and Supplies. MAPA has been supplying its members with top quality forms and business supplies for over forty-five years. The MAPA program consistently offers quality and service at competitive prices. Your order history is kept on record, making ordering forms as easy as one toll-free phone call. MAPA can supply computer invoices, statements, custom and blank forms, printed envelopes, slip printer paper, cash receipt paper, laser toner cartridges, printer ribbons, calendars, employment applications, credit applications, repair tags, price labels, and more. Information and News. MAPA’s NewsSheet is your source for information on the Association and your industry. Every effort is made to produce a newsletter that provides useful, up-to-date information.

Human Resource Management System & Services. MAPA's Human Resource Management System helps members manage their staff the right way. Authored by MAPA's endorsed HR partner, Human Resource Management Services, LLC, a Michigan company,this system includes a customizable employee handbook, the most used HR and new hire forms and all information is available in a digital format for easy use and storage. Monthly HR video updates. Members save 5% on all services through Human Resource Management Services, LLC.

Collections Services. Member preferred rates for A/R collection services through Universal Credit Services, a local independently owned Michigan company. Contingent fees, if you don't get paid, they don't get paid!

Credit Card Processing. The MAPA-endorsed program through Superior Financial Systems provides member rates, state-of-the art services, electronic gift cards and equipment with the lowest "effective rates" in the industry. No obligation quotes.

Cyber Vulnerability Assessment. MAPA recommends Maner Costerisan, an independently owned Michigan company to assist it's members in assessing cyber vulnerabilities of their IT environment at special MAPA member rates.
Scholarships. The MAPA Educational Development Scholarship Fund offers financial aid for qualified students pursuing undergraduate education. Allied with the Capital Region Community Foundation to enable MAPA’s charitable pursuits. In addition, MAPA collaborates with the University of the Aftermarket / GAAS on industry scholarships and offers an annual MAPA Northwood University scholarship.
Networking. Being a MAPA member means you are a part of the automotive aftermarket community in our state. The relationships formed through membership are often referred to as “ the best part of being a MAPA member.” Your attendance at meetings, MAPA’s annual Industry Day and outings will give you an opportunity to meet others in our industry and exchange ideas, problems or solutions.
